Accountant – Public Accounting Experience

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Accountant with public accounting experience for an exciting opportunity with a local employer. Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and accounting records
-Perform general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
-Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
-Review financial data, identify discrepancies, and help resolve accounting issues
-Assist with tax preparation, tax filings, and audit support as needed
-Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
-Provide bookkeeping and general accounting support
-Assist with additional accounting duties as needed

Qualifications

-Previous experience working in a public accounting firm required
-Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
-Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax preparation, or a combination of these areas
-Familiarity with financial statements, account reconciliations, and general accounting principles
-Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
