Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250 (competitive travel RN pay)
• Location: Morgantown, WV (Zip: 26506) — Morgantown, West Virginia travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), weekends as needed — night shift RN, telemetry nursing
• Setting: Acute care – Cardiac Stepdown / MedSurg / Telemetry
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (state licensure or willing to wait for licensure required)
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience; Stepdown or Cardiac Stepdown experience preferred
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting telemetry strips (Telemetry RN experience)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (travel RN eligibility)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Cardiac Stepdown/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips and respond to cardiac rhythm changes
• Titrate drips and manage cardiac medications per protocol
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, transport RNs, physicians, and nurse aides
• Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation
• Float to other units as needed to support acute care operations
• Follow facility protocols, nursing standards, and dress code
