Company History
Case Systems originated in 1948 as Normal Wood Products, when it was owned by two Midland businessmen and served as a local producer of cabinets. The company grew considerable to become a national supplier of laminate casework for educational and healthcare markets. In November 1993, the company was acquired by Bob Bowden and Dave Clark. By 1997, Case Systems needed a larger facility and moved to its current location at 2700 James Savage Road in Midland, Michigan.
In late 2003, the owners of Case Systems were presented with an opportunity to purchase the assets of a metal fabrication company operating in Boston, Massachusetts. By January 2004, BOSTONtec, Inc. had become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Case Systems, and the machinery and equipment had been moved to Midland.
In November 2011, in a joint venture with Northeast Interior Systems, Case Systems purchased CIF Lab Solutions, a wood casework manufacturer in Ontario, Canada.
