Description
The Meeting Planner will use knowledge and skills obtained through education, experience, specialized training and/or certification to plan, execute and manage all logistical planning for speaker bureau (live and webcast) activities, live pharmaceutical events including steering committees, advisory boards, meetings, one on one consultancies, and.
The Meeting Planner will perform duties and assignments using his/her judgement, resolving routine questions or problems and referring only complex issues to a higher level. Extensive contact with Health Care Professionals (HCP’s), vendors, clients and others is required.
Reports To: Director of Meeting and Event Planning
Requirements
Prior pharmaceutical industry experience and speaker bureau meeting planning is a plus
Minimum of 3 year's meeting planning experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Ability to travel regularly for on-site meeting execution
Cvent experience a plus
Strong project management and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work well and interact with team members at all levels
Ability to demonstrate sound and accurate judgement
Strong commitment to the corporate mission/goals and a thorough understanding of the company’s work
